Peer support is a wonderful thing :-)

I had the great privilege today of attending a funeral that my wonderful colleague Paula McDonnell led. She is an incredible civil Celebrant and even though I didn't know the deceased personally, I certainly knew what a wonderful person she was by the end of the service.

And that's what a good Celebrant should do, leave you feeling that you have learnt that little bit more about your beloved or celebrated in their full life and be given the chance to reflect.

It's an honour to call her my friend. Well done Paula, you did the family, the Funeral Directors and yourself proud.
