Wedding
Service

who you are

BORING! Ever sat through a wedding ceremony and thought this?
AMAZING! Want your guests, and most importantly you, to think this at your wedding
ceremony?
Then have a celebrant-led wedding &
CHOOSE ME to be the one Celebrating You!

“Marriage is a mosaic you build with your spouse. Millions of tiny moments that create your love story”

You’ve most likely begun to build your mosaic by the time you start planning your wedding, but one thing is certain and that is your mosaic will not look like anyone else’s. It is and will remain unique to you both.

I will work with you to create and deliver a personal, beautiful, and truly original wedding ceremony for you and your guests. Regardless of how big a wedding you are planning on having or what your budget is, one thing is definite and that is you will always remember your wedding day.

A celebrant has no restrictions in terms of the content, format, or style of a wedding, and can therefore be completely personalised.

Whether you are first-timers, same-sex couple, have children, are a blended family, want to involve your pets or anything else, I would be delighted to help you celebrate you. Your uniqueness, your individuality, your story, your love.

I can create a ceremony that will contain many of the elements that you and your guests would expect to see at a wedding (exchange of vows and rings etc.), but also lots of beautiful details about you both and, where desired, involve some or all of your guests too.

This means the ceremony is warm and relaxed and ensures we create lovely lasting memories for everyone attending. There are so many beautiful rituals that you can include within your ceremony and the only limit is your imagination.

Prices in request.

(Please note that additional mileage charges apply at 50p per mile for venues located more than one hour’s drive from my home address.)

What happens next?
Before you decide if I am the right celebrant for you, let's grab a drink and chat over a video call about your ideas for your big day.

This is a no-obligation part of the process but an
important one. Choosing your celebrant is almost as important as choosing whom you want to marry!

Next, look at what you get for your money and how it all comes together step by step.

Service

who you were

It may be that you are looking to celebrate the life of a special person and who they were, what they meant to you and what they leave behind. Alternatively, it can be possible to hold this kind of celebration before our loved one has passed away, meaning they can also be present and join in the celebration too.

“Life is what you celebrate. All of it. Even its end.”

I think this reflection is at the heart of a celebration of life. My celebrations are described as incredibly personal, entertaining, and uplifting. On occasion, I deliver a rhyming eulogy as I do love writing poetry.

Many families today want a service which celebrates the life of their loved ones. I will provide support in designing a celebration of life that is as unique as the life of the person who has passed away.

I am always humbled working together with families in planning a celebration of life. It is one of the most rewarding things any one of us can do for someone we loved and lost.

Vow Renewal

"We Still Do!"

There are lots of reasons why a couple might consider celebrating their marriage for a second time, but simply put, a vow renewal is a lovely way of celebrating your marriage
all over again. Significant milestones, such as a wedding anniversary, are a great time for renewing vows. There are also many other personal reasons too:

  • Including your children and grandchildren in the ceremony.

  • Following a difficult time in a relationship and you want to re-commit.

  • Recovery from an illness which has tested you both individually and as a couple.

  • To celebrate your love for each other doesn't have to have a reason though!

A ceremony is all about re-affirming your marriage vows – either your original ones or an updated version and it is lovely to acknowledge that in the company of your friends and relatives.
The reasons why couples choose to renew their vows can be as diverse as the couples themselves. The one thing they have in common is the desire to express and
demonstrate the strength of their love and commitment to each other.

Naming Ceremony

who you will be

"Every child is a different kind of flower, and all together make this world a beautiful garden."

A Naming Ceremony is a wonderful way to celebrate the birth of a new baby or to welcome an adopted child or step-children into your family and wider community.

A Naming Ceremony gives you a personalised, meaningful opportunity to celebrate – and welcome – your new addition to the family. It is a non-religious alternative to a formal Christening and is a way to officially name your child in front of your loved ones.

A Naming Ceremony will always be written entirely from scratch; each and every ceremony will be tailored around the family. They can also include any symbolic acts that might mean something to you and your family; this could include Sand Ceremonies, tree-planting or hand and foot printing.

During the ceremony, the parents will state their commitment to their child, thank their family and friends and announce their hopes for the child’s life.

This is what makes them so popular: they are a truly unique way to share your dreams and aspirations for your child’s future.
